Immediately after the 2010 NFL draft one thing was clear, LeGarrett Blount had fallen more than any player in history all because of an incident where he sucker punched a Boise State player who was taunting him after the Boise upset of Oregan.
Blount has appeared to have thrown another blow after the draft. It was reported that Blount had accepted a free agent deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Blount has confirmed that is the case but because he hasn't signed the contract, he was made another offer by the Tennessee Titans who are looking for a power back to replace the recently traded Lendale White. Tennessee is definitely a better fit for Blount. San Francisco has a power runner in Frank Gore and a similar runner in Coffee, so Tennessee it is.
Forty Niner Coach Mike Singletary confirmed Blount called him before signing the Tennessee deal to make sure that the coach understood his decision. Singletary stated that he understood the move and thought it was professional that Blount would call before making a controversial move.
