2012 Fantasy Football Draft Guide: Running Backs

The heart and soul of a fantasy football team is the running back core. You have to have variety. One has to be a stud that can do it against anyone and the others need to be matchups that you know will deliver.

2011 BCSOM Fantasy Football Draft Guide - Quarterbacks

Last year it nearly cost me a couple of fantasy football championships as I gave away a lot of secrets over what players to take in the fantasy football draft. I have decided that this year I will sacrifice championships for the people since I am a man of the people. Today we will look at the position of quarterback. Usually when we look at the quarterback position you think that maybe you should grab a quarterback in the later rounds. Well this year there may not be any value in the position after the first four or five rounds.

When selecting a quarterback you want one thing and one thing only, accuracy. You want your quarterback to have the least amount of turnovers possible while scoring as many touchdowns as he possibly can for your team. You usually prefer the passer over the runner but in some cases a good combination of both makes your quarterback a complete weapon. Below are your top choices in this year’s fantasy draft.

2010 BCSOM Fantasy Football Draft Guide - Quarterbacks

Fantasy football is very easy to play and the variety of systems and sites provide everything you need to get started. Fantasy football lets you try your skills as a fantasy coach. I suggest joining a random public league if this is your first time playing, rather then joining your friends in a league and being the butt of all jokes.

To join a public league all you need to do is go to one of the many fantasy football sites and sign up. Here are a few suggestions of popular fantasy football sites: FleaFlickerYahoo Fantasy FootballESPN Fantasy FootballMSN Fantasy Football

After you join a league, you scout for and draft players, compete against other fantasy coaches, and use all your skills to make it to the playoffs. This is where I come in. I am going to help you figure out who you should draft based on where you are picking. These picks are for traditional scoring leagues which do not give points for receptions. Today we will take a look at the quarterbacks.

Real Fantasy Football: The LFL

Last year my boy put me onto an all female football league called the LFL. Yes that is the Lingerie Football League. The LFL is an 10 team all female football league divided into two divisions that play 7 on 7 tackle football. They strap it up with modified helmets and shoulder pads and get it on. These women play like they have something to prove and the crowd loves it.

The rules are a little different than the NFL or other leagues.
