The Ten Best Sports Plays In The Fall of 2010

In an effort to stay connected to the world of sports we are going to start a seasonal top 10 in sports. Each of the four seasons we will showcase the plays of the season. The fall of 2010 will mark the first attempt at this list.

Dominique Davis: The Sky's The Limit For This Kid

His path to East Carolina is as shaky as the construction side of highway 95. Dominique Davis' college football journey has been marked by five different head coaches in locations as disparate as suburban New England, rural Kansas and eastern North Carolina. It's not a path he recommends, but he seems to have made it work.

In a span of 21 months, he went from starting in the ACC championship game, to a junior college title on the southeastern Kansas plains, to an improbable, nationally-televised, highlight-reel win in the 2010 season opener.

Davis rolled out of high school in Florida to play for the Boston College Eagles. In his first year he was on the shelf as Matt Ryan played out his senior season. So after being red-shirted Davis began his second freshman season as a backup.
