Give Me A Call Tiger The Fix Is Simple

Joe Simmons As I sat and watched this the other night I thought that Brandel Chamblee nailed it. What Brandel can't say (that I can) is Sean Foley is arrogant. Quite frankly this is the last kind of influence Tiger needs at this point. It should be noted that Brandel has a great deal of admiration and respect for Tiger which he also makes clear on this edition of "Live at" and has over the years. His comments about Tiger's tenacity were also right on. There is "no give up in Tiger".
Arrogance is a very dangerous character flaw in any game. I warned Woods of this earlier in the year. The Gods punish it routinely as one of the best players I ever met once told me, "I've been around these championships for a long time and while there are still a lot of things I don't know about the game the one thing I do know is that the second you get cocky about the game the game has a way of cutting you down to size in a most embarrassing way"... seen it hundreds of times. You are not responsible for the thought, but you are responsible for what you do with it. I can speak from experience that humility works well in Golf.
It almost looked like it was hurting Brandel to say what he had to say. In this day and age when so much commentary is painfully PC it is refreshing to hear Brandel go off and speak his mind.
