NFL Replacement Officials Are Officially Terrible

Watching Monday night football last night really brought to a head what many people have already said. Watching Bomani Jones piece equating replacement officials to substitute teaches was more spot on than anyone could ever imagine.

Kids don’t have any respect for substitute teachers and quite frankly the players and coaches don’t have any respect for these replacement officials.

These guys are a joke. I have a problem with small college officials any ways. They call far too many penalties of non importance and they miss obvious calls that it seems like they should never miss.

A small college football game can be so long at times that you can be totally wasted before the game and by half time you can be completely sober. They will make some of the craziest calls and some of the worst calls at times and when someone blatantly breaks the rules, there will not be a flag in site.

If the job of the commissioner is to protect the brand, then something needs to be done immediately. These guys who are doing these games are way over their head. If you think about it, these guys struggle with the speed of a small college football game. How do you think they can keep up with the pace of an NFL game? Chances are there might be ten or eleven guys who can but for the most part those who are most capable aren’t working small college football but working big time college football.

Hopefully their actions doesn’t get anyone hurt.
