NFL Week 1 Wrapup and Game Balls

Week 1 was a success as the NFL did what everyone including myself expected. It was good to see the return of Adrian Peterson, Peyton Manning, and Maurice Jones Drew. It was also good to see the rookie class stand tall and look exceptionally well especially the quarterbacks with the exception of Brandon Weeden.

Game Ball #1

If you thougth that Adrain Peterson was done, you better recognize. AP looks as strong as before and he looks motivated to prove to everyone that he is back. He may not be as agile as he was before but he is definitely a strong runaway freight train. He definitley exceeded my expectations.

Game Ball #2

You had to know that RGIII was getting the rock. Putting up over 300 yards passing and a couple of touchdowns while winning just makes good sense. RGIII is siliencing all of the critics who didn't want to acknowledge him as legit. Now they recognize him for what he is. A Super Star.

Game Ball #3

Peyton Manning just continues to overwhelm fans when he is on the field. The man is a field general and can't be taken for granted. Manning threw the ball well and his decision making skills were impeckable. Seems like the older he gets, the better he plays.

We may add a fourth game ball this evening as we have two NFL games to play. Stay tuned as the NFL continues to feed us with good hard hitting football.
