The Logic Behind All These NBA Injuries

This year the NBA has been strapped with injuries of superstar status players. We usually have injuries but this year it appears that there are more than normal. This leads one to ask why? Why are all these injuries taking place in the NBA?
The first reason most will notice is that there was no NBA offseason for the players. They were in limbo and locked out of their facilities this year. In fact, the only players that I see that aren't hurt are the guys who were touring and playing basketball this summer like Carmelo, Durant, Lebron, D.Wade, and CP3.
If you think about it logically it makes sense. Guys like Amare and Dwight Howard already had injuries at the end of last season but because of the lockout, they couldn't get the treatment that they needed because they were not allowed to see the trainers and team doctors. It would seem that they would make an exception for medical treatment during the lockout since they players are the real commodity behind the success of the league.
Guys like Derrick Rose, Iman Shumpert, Chauncey Billups, and Baron Davis are all examples of how improper preparation can lead to serioud injury. Even though you could argue that these guys were all in fantastic shape, there is something to be said about preventive measures and lack of strain on the body while preparing. These guys were catapulted into playing more games in less time without getting the opportunity to get in the best of shape.
We saw this take it's toll on guys like Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Ray Allen this year as they were out of the lineup more with injuries, especially after their team had to play three games in a row during stretches of the season.
Maybe the NBA will re-evaluate their policies and even though they are locked out, they will provide the care that the players need during the offseason so that whhen the season kicks off, players are in proper shape and injury free.
