Getting Ready For The Big Game Super Bowl Rematch

Many of you, like myself, have no dog in this fight but we all recognize what it takes to become a great team and compete for a championship. It takes luck, talent, and a few balls to bounce your way to make it to the big dance.

The two teams that are playing may not be the two most attractive team’s football wise, but they both have history of winning. There are several people who may have had the Patriots in their Super Bowl picks, including myself, but there were very few people who weren’t Giants fans that could have seen this coming. No way have they started out this way with the departure of Steve Smith for a six piece McNuggets and a sweet tea to the Eagles. No way would they continue to play great without their starting running back who was suspended for childish acts and irresponsibility several times this year.

Both teams had obstacles to clear, as injuries have handicapped both teams for most of the season. The Patriots started the season on fire without the services of Law Firm and a serviceable deep threat at wide receiver. The Giants gave away their best wide receiver statistically, and battled all season with injuries on their front seven.

Picking a team to cheer for isn’t going to be that hard for me. I usually roll with the NFC unless there is a player out there who I just admire and want to see be great on the other team.

Honestly I can say that I am happy to be able to tune in and check out a game of this magnitude just one more time. Follow my commentary and live updates on twitter @joesimtre and on facebook at Bull City State Of Mind’s Page.
