NCCU Completes Its First Football Practice With Henry Frazier III

The Eagles took the field for the first day of 29 before they line up against Rutgers on September 1. The team looked crisp and seemed to have a swagger about them as they took the field for a high octane, uptempo practice.

The hustle was evident as the team ran from drill to drill. Although the team was in shorts and shells, they were doing a lot of good things. The linemen were getting work, and the intensity was like that of a full pad practice.

As Coach Frazier stated, "we are forcing the tempo".. He is correct. They move from place to place and look extremely organized. It's only day one but it looks like the Eagles are headed in the right direction. The biggest surprise for me was Andre Clark, a redshirt freshman running back, who looks eager to get back on the field.

The kid has a lot of qualities that you want to see in a running back. He looks a lot like former NCCU running back Junior Bulla and plays with an attitude. This season will be fun to watch as the Eagles get ready for a tough season.
