A Tribute To The Big Home Shaquille O'Neal

I know this is one of a million tributes to the big homie Shaq as he enters the world of retirement. Let’s keep it real, his persona is bigger than just basketball, but we cannot forget what the man has accomplished on the court. Shaq has 13 seasons of 20 points and 10 rebounds. That’s almost unheard of. Plus in our lifetime we have never seen a man with his ability at his size be so lethal for so many years. Guys that are 7 foot tall and 320 pounds don’t usually hold up like the Diesel did in his career. From age 22 to about 32 there has never been a more unstoppable force in the game.
The big Nostradomis could run, jump, and leap better than the best.
The makers of basketball goals had to change the compression rate of the basket because of the big fella. Shaq dominated everyone he played against most of his career. He only had one instance where he was taken to school. He ran into an unstoppable force in Hakeem Olajuwon. The Dream was in his prime and his footwork was second to none as he faced the Big Aristotle.
However that was the last time Hakeem would hold the edge. Shaq made Hakeem pay for that as he got a little older and Shaq got more seasoned.
But Shaq was more than just a hooper. The man had the complete package. He could entertain. He’s done everything from movies to rapping. From TV comedy specials to TV series there will certainly never be a more entertaining big man that the Big Shamrock. You have to give it to the big fella, he knows he has skills, man!
Stay Breezy ~ I'm Out!
Hakeem Olajuwon,
Shaquille O'Neal |

i admit....when shaq first came into the league, i couldnt stand him or orlando....i would be critical about his free throws, about the way he played by only dunking and not making shots like jabbar or hakeem or ewing...but over time he grew on me...the longer he played, the more i loved him...its just something to see in life when a big man like shaq is such a gentle giant...i also admit that i hate everything about the lakers, and the city of LA...but shaq started to grow on me, and i never thought i would ever like a laker...and when kobe bryant throwing one of his many fits and made shaq and others leave because of him, it made me hate kobe for life...what kobe did waz destroyed what could have been the greatest dynasty run ever... even over the jordan bulls run...and fair points to the pistons when they beat the lakers in the finals but in my opinion, its just hard to win a title when the chemistry and love for each other iz not there...im just glad shaq got to win one when he got traded to miami...we all saw what happened when kobe got his way and the rest fled...kobe didnt win shit and throwing fits...then phil came back, so did fisher, and signed gasol..then kobe blasted the coach and team and wanted to be traded to chicago cause he said that the lakers couldnt win anymore...and.of course what happened ?...lakers made the finals...lost to the celtics but still made it..and baby brat kobe got the mvp when it should have went to james...but thats politics...anyway my point is, is that shaq has a great heart for his team, his fans, and basketball itself...he is a great role model for so many..he even taught me a few things to...i am looking forward to see him getting into the hall of fame because he iz part of a rare breed who really deserves it..and to this day ( and i thought i would never say this years ago ), he has become one of my favorite players of all time...just like michael jordan and the bullS i hated so much, their passion and love for the game won my respect...shaq, jordan, bird, wilkins, james, durrant, and a few others were the best...men of great character, and they are great leaders for their team and mates...they dont cry and wine bout the meaningless shit like kobe, iverson, barkley, coleman, you get the point...dang i got deep in this one didnt i joe ?....another great player who had heart but got lost like some we've heard about was nicknamed "THE GOAT"....i dont know if many have heard of him, but he was a heck of a player....but anyway, SHAQ, you are one of the best ever and thankyou for having a big heart for the game and the fans...god bless and good luck to you in life after basketball..............................................................
.............OH YEA,....PS...KOBE BRYANT YOU CAN SUCK A BIG ONE YOU BRATY BASTARD...

Shaq was that dude. I agree with Wildcard on this one. He grew on me. The man had passion for his teammates and did nothing but good in every city in which he played.
