Its Tebow Time, Put Up Or Shut Up

Quite frankly I am glad Tim Tebow is finally getting his chance to play. I get tired of hearing about what people say a person can or cannot do. The only real way to tell if they can produce is to put them in the game. Some people just aren’t practice players. Every coach I have ever had has told me that I was one of the worst practice players they have ever seen, but when the lights come on, something comes out of me and I figure it all out.
Maybe Tebow is that guy. Maybe he will be what some thinks he will. He may have something that experts can’t measure, “the will to win”. He has obviously been a winner most of his life. All the man does is motivate the people around him. You can take it to the bank that his teammates are rooting for him to be successful. The media has painted a picture of him making him appear holier than thou and quite frankly the second coming. However other portions of the media have painted him as overrated and cumbersome.
This factor alone has made him the most adored and also one of the most hated athletes in the history of sports. No one has a neutral opinion on Tebow. Let’s be frank, white America loves the man. He has the number one selling jersey in the NFL and he hasn’t done a thing yet to earn that right. He is the son every woman wants and the man every dad wants to marry his daughter.
Black America is love or hate with the man. He possess all of the qualities that most black quarterbacks have but he doesn’t get ridiculed quite as bad as most black quarterbacks because of who he is. If you ask most people, they don’t dislike Tim Tebow the person, they dislike Tim Tebow the persona. The media hype has everyone a little on edge.
Interestingly enough, everyone was comparing Cam Newton to Tim Tebow as he was coming out of college. Cam has proven that he can get it done at a high level. As soon as Cam’s success began to be realized, immediately sports reporters such as Woody Paige began to say that Tebow was better and Denver needs to put him on the field. I am not even going to compare Tebow’s skill set with Cam’s skill set, because there is not real comparison. Cam is far superior. What I will compare is Tebow’s will to win with Cam’s will to win and I do see a lot of common ground that they share.
Will Tebow be successful? Yes if Denver caters their offense to support his strengths. However if they do not, they will be a dismal team and Tebow will fail. The Carolina Panthers made up their mind from day 1 that Newton was their guy and they put in an offense that caters to his strengths. If Denver doesn’t do that, then they are wasting Tebow’s talents and everyone’s time.
Stay Breezy ~ I’m Out!
Auburn Tigers,
Cam Newton,
Carolina Panthers,

Tebow will do just fine. I am glad you said what you said though because it is so true. Never the less, Tebow can play and he will be a difference maker if Denver runs the right system for his skill set.
It's about time they just throw him out there and see what he can do. At this point, Denver has nothing to lose. They suck anyway, and the fans (even though they shouldn't hold THIS MUCH influence) have let it be known, loudly, that they wanna see Tebow over anyone else they have on the roster.
