So You Think You've Got Game... Don't Hate

It's been a while since I've written something about athletes and women. Well today is that day. I was having a discussion with one of my friends the other day and he was hating hard on some ballers who had nice looking women. I asked him why he was hating and he said that they only had those women because of who they are. In his words, "If they weren't millionaires, they wouldn't be able to get those women." In essence I was feeling the hate. So my advice to him:

Don’t hate the player, hate the game

 In today’s world of celebrities and athletes, that mantra holds just as true as ever. We are just as likely to see our favorite players on the cover of Newsweek as we are ESPN the Magazine. And we aren’t talking about the likes of Shawn Kemp or Travis Henry trying to single-handedly overpopulate the planet. We are talking about QUALITY. Thats right QUALITY women. 

There are several pro athletes that get the crème de la crème when it comes to the women of the world. I don’t understand why people hate. If a playa can do it then more power to it. Today we will take a look at athletes who are getting it done with the ladies.

Derek Jeter
He might not be the most famous Yankee in history, but not even The Babe himself could pull the ladies like Jeter. His first star relationship was with Mariah Carey, followed by a fling with Miss Universe Lara Dutta and dates with singer Joy Enriquez and actresses Jordana Brewster, Vanessa Minillo and Jessica Biel. Currently, he is batting cleanup on the super-hot Minka Kelly and lets just say he’s pounding the heck outta the ball. 

Tony Romo
The leader of the Dallas Cowboys knows how to see weakness in coverage and attack the soft spot, something he has translated well to dealing with the ladies. He is famous for a long-time fling with singer/actress Jessica Simpson (who swole up on him) and is currently doing his thing with former Miss Missouri, Candice Crawford. However, he made one of his biggest botches of his career by opting to focus on football instead of continuing his relationships with Carrie Underwood and Sophia Bush. I love football as much as the next guy, but that's a bigger mistake than his mishandled snap against Seattle in the 2007 playoffs.

Rick Fox
The former NBA champion with the Lakers has been retired for several years now, but still has no problem taking it strong to the hole. Fox originally was putting in time with former Miss America and ex-wife Vanessa Williams and has been linked to other beauties such as supermodel Tyra Banks. Currently, he is dating former Buffy and Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku. Looks like Fox still has plenty of range on his jumper.

Reggie Bush
Southern Cal’s favorite Trojan has no doubt been going through plenty of them during his tenure in the NFL. He has twice dated Kim Kardashian (if those two crazy kids can’t make it in this messed up world, who can?) and currently is getting with Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose. The explosive running back also apparently takes a blue-collar approach to dating the ladies and also has been linked to country singer Jessie James. I guess Reggie just likes seconds. Oh well!

I bet you thought you were going to see Tiger Woods didn’t you. Well we said QUALITY not QUANTITY.
