Background Information
Joe Simmons, graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, and a member of its sports hall of fame is the founder and CEO of Bull City State Of Mind. Mr. Simmons is acting on a vision of creating an outlet for aspiring writers to have a voice in the ever growing media expressing views that are informative, controversial and most importantly unbiased.
Mr. Simmons is a sports machine. He approaches writing like he approached playing. He goes hard. He is also passionate. If you need someone to break down an offense or defense, he has you covered. If you need someone to talk full court press or half court trap, he's your guy. If you need someone to read the spin on a pitch or talk about the suicide squeeze he will not let you down.
Mr. Simmons athletic expertise comes from years on the gridiron and coaching various sports on the college and high school level.

His experience as a college athlete, his brief professional career, and his years served as a college football coach helps him deliver informed and qualified information about events taking place in the world of sports today.
